I bought these yesterday, and today I finally found the courage to try them with my brother. Each one I’ve tried has been DISGUSTING. I’m convinced that peeves has switched them to all gross flavours and he’s hiding somewhere laughing at my pain.

After hearing so much praise towards it, I finally decided to read The Hunger Games series. I finished the first installment in a day and a half, if not less. I just couldn’t put it down. I’m still reeling from how good it is.
Catching Fire hasn’t quite reached that same level of excitement for me. I’m definitely struggling to find that spark that kept me reading The Hunger Games, but I never give up once I’ve started reading something, and I’m determined to see this story to the end.

Why old books smell good.
“Lignin, the stuff that prevents all trees from adopting the weeping habit, is a polymer made up of units that are closely related to vanillin. When made into paper and stored for years, it breaks down and smells good. Which is how divine providence has arranged for secondhand bookstores to smell like good quality vanilla absolute, subliminally stoking a hunger for knowledge in all of us.”
